This is what we made when I went over to my aunt Jan's house last week....
They're vases made out of Christmas ornaments! She found the mirror bases at the Dollar Tree, and then we just used ornaments with the hook removed for the vases, and decorated them with sequins and sparkles. Once we were done decorating, we glued the base of the ornaments to the mirrors. It was a super easy project. We used pink vases since Valentine's Day is coming up, but thankfully I have a pink living room, so I can keep them out year-round! This would be a great project to do for any holiday - for Fourth of July you could use red, white, and blue ornaments, for Halloween black and orange, and green and red and white for Christmas.
what a great idea! these are so cute! i kind of want to do this with clear ornaments. maybe i can find some at michaels leftover from christmas!
