Yesterday my mom hosted a women's Christmas tea. I think everyone is hoping it's the first of many, because I know it was one of the best parties I've ever been to. Someone said my mom is like Martha Stewart, and I had an "aha!" moment, because it's so true. The house was decorated adorably and impeccably, there were craft tables set up to make ornaments, she organized a big donation of gifts for a women's shelter, she made tiny gift bags full of fudge for everyone to take home, and there were (I kid you not) 26 different kinds of Christmas cookies. See? A mini Martha.
I couldn't have done it without such awesome help....as in YOU! It was a fun party and I'm already planning next years :). Thanks for such sweet comments!
